Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood

Covina is opening up a new barbecue joint. They’ve been previewing their food on Saturdays and I must say I’m pretty excited to have a tasty barbecue option within walking distance.

The new place is called “Ribs to Spare” and is on the corner of San Bernardino and Citrus in Covina. They classify themselves as Chicago-style barbecue. Their stuff is smoked and has a good bold taste from the spices they pack on top. Their rubs don’t require barbecue sauce, but it is a great addition to the brisket. They’re supposed to open in a month. Lets hope so.

Don’t believe it, its actually a storage closet, and it kind of sucks. I’ll be here until they finish working on my cubicle.
